Global Mapping of Emergency Stockpiles was launched in October 2010 in collaboration with the Logistics Cluster to map the capacities and resources of humanitarian actors. This single entry interface provides information on 'who has what where' supporting preparedness initiatives and relief operations of the humanitarian community as a whole.

As mentioned in the Inter-Agency Contingency plan for Pakistan, one of the activities of the various clusters is to identify the stocks and pre-positioning of emergency relief items (NFIs, emergency shelter, medical equipment, etc.).
