Emergency Response Fund
The Emergency Response Fund (ERF) is OCHA's mechanism to release rapid and flexible funds in response to an emergency. In Pakistan, the ERF has disbursed US$36 million for the implementation of 136 projects.

National non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have received $21 million to implement 88 projects. The ERF has benefitted 4.5 million people in Pakistan through implementing partners providing food, water and sanitation, healthcare, shelter, education, nutrition, protection, community restoration, and provision of agriculture and livestock. The ERF benefits people worldwide to alleviate suffering in the aftermath of natural disasters and conflict-related emergencies.
